Extract Tables from Arabic Documents

Convert tables in Arabic PDFs, Word, PowerPoint and images into Excel or CSV with rows and columns intact, and every written total checked against its cells.

Upload an Excel, Word, PDF or image file. Tables are extracted with their rows and columns, and their totals are checked.

Choosing a file uploads nothing and charges nothing — its size is read here first and the price shown.

Extract tables from Arabic files into Excel or CSV with their rows and columns, and every total written in a table checked against the sum of its cells.

Figures are copied as written, never recomputed; totals are only checked, so you are told whether they match. An unreadable cell is left with a question mark, because a guessed number in a table is worse than an empty one.

Who it is for

  • Financial statements

Annual report tables in Excel with their totals verified.

  • Invoices and quotes

Line items and prices in a spreadsheet.

  • Government statistics

Published PDF tables in an analysable format.

  • Research

    Study tables ready for re-analysis.

How it works

  1. Upload an Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF or image file.
  2. Office files are read from their structure; PDFs and images with OCR.
  3. Every written total is compared with the sum of the cells above it.
  4. Download Excel or CSV, or copy straight into your spreadsheet.

Frequently asked questions

What about merged cells?

The merged value is repeated in each column it spans, and a note says so instead of leaving gaps.

Are calculations redone?

No. Figures are copied as written; totals are only checked for a match.

What if a cell is unreadable?

It is left with a question mark and counted in the notes.
